“ The BIG name in breakfast is more like it! One of the best steak omelet I've ever had. And coffee is good too ... ”
“ i almost don’t want to write a review because there’s still availability. i do not like breakfast because at restaurants it’s usually bland and blah. this place is great. i got waffles w chicken, brown sugar and hot honey. it was so sooooo good. and they served each person as it was ready. i cannot explain how much i appreciate that instead of waiting till everyone’s plate at the table is ready. amazing. ”
“ Had the best experience here! We stayed at fire keepers and always look for mom n pop places and we hit the jackpot here! Food was amazing! Gotta try the new sombrero breakfast sandwich! AMAZING! ”
“ Great food and service, but small. It's not a problem because they are fast. They don't make you feel rushed. Get there early if it's the weekend. Food was priced accordingly. I will definitely go back. ”
“ OMG. I’m a big girl that likes “good” food. And this is it. I have found my temple. The menu is creative, the servings are generous. I had a “Hangover Cure”. Eggs, Hash Browns, lots-o-cheese, choice of breakfast protein, sandwiched between (2) fluffy pancakes... and... (get this) topped with toasted marshmallows. MARSHMALLOWS. I wasn’t hung over, but I almost want to drink and get a hangover, just to see if this is the cure. Hell, even if it isn’t, it’s MAGICAL. It’s breakfast with dessert. My husband has gotten raspberry cream cheese French toast. He’s a little more sweet and fruity than I am. Just as AMAZING. We spilt an order of corned beef hash. YES! YES! YES! And the brisket!! Oh my stars... the brisket!! If you’re looking for a quaint quiet bistro or cafe to share an intimate conversation with your new mate... this probably isn’t the place for you. BUT if you want some great food, BigAssHonkin’ portions, creative dishes, and love a greasy spoon diner, with classic rock playing in the kitchen, crowded conversations and the sound of the occasional dish breaking... then this is your temple too. I’ll see you there. (MARSHMALLOWS ON TOP OF MY BREAKFAST. You know I ate one of those first. OMG.) ”
“ Cool spot to eat, food and atmosphere were great. Just a little place but recently updated interior. Good portions and good service. We were there on a Sunday and they didn’t rush us out as we chatted. I will be back ”
“ STOP! Your search for the perfect sandwich is over. Get this... on the specials board: “Ranchers Steak Bagel”. Huh. I’m like... what would a rancher put on a bagel? WOWSERS! A generous amount of chopped (tender) ribeye, egg, (I got mine fried. I’m messy enough) American Cheese, cream cheese, onions and MUSHROOMS... on an Everything Bagel. OMG- THE BEST FRIKKEN SAMMICH EVER. This sandwich was dripping with cheese, and richness, and love, and sunshine. (I almost pulled a Meg Ryan and go all “Harry met Sally” in there... but I could see a nice lady in another booth that would have been offended.) My husband would like me to mention he thinks they have the best pancakes in town. They probably do. If they’re anything like this sandwich they’re probably made with the blessings of unicorns, because I heard a lot of “ITS SO FLUFFY!” from across the table. But I didn’t eat magic fluffy pancakes. I had the BEST FRIKKEN SANDWICH IN THE WORLD. And a side of corned beef hash, which is also “da bomb baby”. BUT WAIT! THERE’S MORE! They have outdoor seating in the back which was pretty impressive. I walked back there thinking there might be a few picnic tables... but they have a decent sized tent, that covers booths! I bet you could get 25-30 more people in the back. I thought it looked great. But nothing compares to the sandwich. RANCHERS STEAK BAGEL. You’re welcome. ”
“ My buddy introduced me to Sunrise Cafe the summer of 2023....I have met up with others there at least 7 times in the following 6 months! The breakfasts look fabulous, never eaten that there, though. Even at 7:00am I always order the Rita Burger or the Mushroom & Swiss burger. Best burgers in SW Michigan! Kristina always keeps the coffee mugs full, too. Great service! ”
